• Geriatricians and Compensation. May 2008. (Volume 6, Issue 1). This is the second time (October 2004) that an Update has presented information regarding compensation.
• Fellows in Geriatric Medicine and Geriatric Psychiatry Programs. October 2007. (Volume 5, Issue 2). This is the third time (February 2003, and October 2005) that an Update has presented information regarding geriatric medicine and geriatric psychiatry fellows.
• Geriatrics in Psychiatry Residency Programs. July 2007. (Volume 5, Issue 1). Results from ADGAP's first survey of program directors of psychiatry residency programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
• Academic Geriatric Programs in US Osteopathic Medical Schools. September 2006. (Volume 4, Issue 2). Compares findings from our 2005 survey of directors of geriatric medicine programs to our 2001 survey.
• Academic Geriatric Programs in US Allopathic Medical Schools. May 2006. (Volume 4, Issue 1). Compares findings from 2001 to 2005 regarding faculty and staff numbers, characteristics of academic leaders, and budgets and source of program revenues.
• Fellows in Geriatric Medicine and Geriatric Psychiatry Programs. October 2005. (Volume 3, Issue 2). Updates information on fellowship programs since the February 2003 report.
• Geriatricians and Geriatric Psychiatrists. May 2005. (Volume 3, Issue 1). Examines trends in certification and re-certification in geriatric medicine and geriatric psychiatry since the May 2003 report.
• Financial Compensation for Geriatricians in Academic and Private Practice. October 2004. (Volume 2, Issue 2). Examines compensation for geriatricians in academic and private practice, and compares their compensation with physicians from other specialties.
• Graduate Medical Education. February 2004. (Volume 2, Issue 1). Lists specific ACGME requirements for geriatrics training for all non-pediatric residency and fellowship programs.
• Medical Student Training in Geriatrics at the Beginning of the 21st Century. October 2003. (Volume 1, Issue 3). Provides a picture of the state of medical student education and training in geriatrics before schools implement new curriculum as a result of being funded by either the AAMC and the John A. Hartford Foundation or the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation.
• Geriatricians and Geriatric Psychiatrists. May 2003. (Volume 1, Issue 2). Trends in certification and an explanation regarding why the number of certified geriatricians and geriatric psychiatrists will decline in the future are presented in this issue.
• Fellows in Geriatric Medicine and Geriatric Psychiatry Programs. February 2003. (Volume 1, Issue 1). Using data compiled from the AMA/AAMC National Graduate Medical Education Census, this Update examines growth trends in geriatric medicine and geriatric psychiatry fellowship programs.
